The Nandi Bench is a taller, narrower version of the Nandi Day Bed. It can be placed in a variety of settings—at the entrance, the dining table, or even at the foot of a bed. Its gently curved ends are bent, heat free, by slotting a small piece of wood into the larger piece. This simple but special woodworking method, saves material and limits the amount of waste generated during production. It also lends the bench a singular decorative look.

“The ribs of the bench and the daybed are reminiscent of the fingers of a hand. This hand carries the person sitting or lying on it. The idea of "being carried" has its origins not least in the East Asian mindset and spirituality.” says designer Klemens Grund.
