Material Goods is our line of garments and objects for everyone, inspired by our surroundings—materials and swatches found in architecture & nature around us. 

Our first material, inspired by corten steel, is an alloy steel that forms a protective patina —a rust-like layer — when exposed to the elements. This natural process prevents further corrosion and gains strength over time.

From its use in the famous art practices of Richard Serra and Donald Judd to the Iron Pillar of Delhi in the 5th Century CE, we see this practice of weathering steel inform our relationship to the environment.

We hope you will wear and use this hat, like corten steel, to weather all the storms of life and to age better over time.
