Although the chairs share little beyond their materials, both reflect modernist design principles, emphasizing clean lines, functional form, and a seamless blend of local craftsmanship with contemporary living.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"in-view\" dir=\"ltr\"\u003ePhantom Hands’ re-edition retains Bawa’s original proportions while updating materials for durability and sustainability. Handmade locally sourced leather has been replaced with high-quality leather sourced from J \u0026amp; R Guram, celebrated campaign furniture makers based in Delhi. The frame is crafted from North American red oak, chosen for its strength, environmental credentials, and ability to take color.
