A beautifully recycled plate by our friends at Xenia Taler, from Canada. Their bamboo products are made from industrial manufacturers’ discarded bamboo. Excess scraps are gathered from bamboo furniture or chopstick manufacturers and ground into a powder. The bamboo powder is mixed with corn starch and a food grade melamine binder, then molded into tableware.
- Color: terrazzo pattern in green, orange, mauve, and yellow
- Materials: Melamine, Bamboo fiber. PVC, BPA and all phthalates.
- Care: Dishwasher safe, top rack. No prolonged soaking. Do not use it in a microwave. Use up to 158℉ / 70℃. Do not use harsh, abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
- Will not shatter like glass or ceramic and will not usually break when dropped but it may crack or chip if it hits a hard surface like tile or concrete.
